Macedonia will use the fact that is idle in Round 9 of the World Cup qualifiers for a friendly match against Latvia in Skopje.

the Latvian Football Federation confirmed the match. It will be played on Thursday, 13 November at the National Arena Todor Proeski in Skopje. The kick-off time will be confirmed additionally. Latvia three days later hosts Serbia, while Macedonia on the 18th travels to Wales for what might be a decisive qualifier, depending on the results in October.
It will be a a 6th match between the two national teams and only the second friendly.
