Calendar for 2025/26 season revealed

FFM has determined the start and end dates for the top two league as well as the Macedonian Cup for the new season 2025/26.

The 1.MFL will kick-off on 8 August (Friday) 2025 and will end on 24 May 2026 (Sunday). On 7 December will end the first half season with a winter break until 13 February 2026 when the league will continue. Each round will have matches played in three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) as FFM is close to negotiate a contract for TV coverage with Arena Sport and MRT. There will be 4 midweek rounds: 17 September 2025 (Wednesday, Round 6), 22 October 2025 (Wednesday, Round 11), 4 March 2026 (Wednesday, Round 21) and 8 April 2026 (Wednesday, Round 26)

The 2.MFL will kick-off a bit later on 23 August 2025 and will end on 23 May 2026 (Saturday). The winter break in the second league will start from 29 November 2025 and will last until 21 February 2026. Matches will only be played on Saturday with only one midweek round on 3 March 2026 (Tuesday, Round 18).

The play-off for filling the two top flights will be played on 30 May 2026 (for 2.MFL) and 31 May 2026 (for 1.MFL).

The opening round of the Macedonian Cup will be played on 26 & 27 August 2025 (Tuesday and Wednesday). The eight finals on 24 September 2025 (Wednesday) with returns on 29 October 2025 (Wednesday), quarterfinals on 26 November 2025 (Wednesday) with returns on 25 February 2026 (Wednesday), the semis on 1 April 2026 (Wednesday) with returns on 22 April 2026 (Wednesday) and the grand final on 20 May 2026 (Wednesday).

The draws for each competition will be made on a date to be confirmed by FFM.
