Macedonia will host Scotland and Netherlands in the opening of the World Cup qualifications. The qualifications for the World Cup that will be played in South Africa in 2010, will start in September 2008.

The Macedonian national team will have 20/08/2008, 11/10/2008, 19/11/2008. 11/02/2009, 28/03/2009 and 19/08/2009 as free dates for arranging friendly matches and better preparations for the qualification matches.
