Aleksandar Todorovski could make his league debut for Polonia Warszawa on Sunday after starting RB Marcin Baszczyński has been ruled out with an injury.

According to our Polish friend on facebook, Kacper Szulecki, the chances are high for Todorovski to make his debut this weekend after starting RB Marcin Baszczyński sustained an injury and will not play in Sunday’s game against Jagiellonia Białystok.

Here is the exact statement by Szulecki: “Good news for Todorovski, although one should not be happy with other’s bad luck. Polonia’s righback Marcin Baszczyński is injured, and will not play against Jagiellonia Białystok on Sunday. After a good performance in last week’s test match, Todorovski’s chances for a debut are high.”

Todorovski has not made the bench during the first five rounds of the season.  The Polonia Warszawa president recently said that Todorovski was not playing because of the fierce competition at the position and not because he is a bad player.  However, with the injury to Baszczyński, Todorovski should at least make the bench and maybe the Polonia manager will decide to start Todorovski who did well in the recent friendly last week.
