Cup holders Macedonia GjP defeated Sileks with a lone 1:0 win thanks to a goal scored in the middle of the second half by 17-year-old Altin Aliji.

The most entertaining was in Kavadarci where Tikvesh and AP Brera Strumica decided the semifinalist with the help of penalties kicks. The visitors from Strumica took the lead in the stoppage time of the first half thanks to an own goal by Donchev, but the hosts Kavadarci quickly returned in game through Slovenian international Gal Kurež in the 52nd minute. Penatlies followed where there was a run of four misses in a row starting with Franco for Brera when keeper Arian Rener saved, but then Kurež also missed for the hosts after shooting over the bar. However, AP Brera were unable to equalize as Vrdoljak hit the crossbar, then Marko Alchevski well read Spahiu and Tikvesh missed an opportunity to take a double lead. In the end, Martin Gjorgievski’s penalty, which was saved by Rener, was crucial.

Tikvesh only for the second time in their long history reaches the semis. First time they did that was in 2010/11 when as second division side got eliminated by then holders Teteks, who later lost the final.

Voska Sport made history in the middle of Shtip where they managed to knock out Bregalnica and reach the semifinals for the first time in their existence. The hosts were downed to 10 men from the 48th minute after the young goalkeeper Kire Novakov was sent off. Then Alen Jasharoski scored the winning goal with a masterful header.

The rain that was raining in Skopje all night made the conditions for the Rabotnichki – Shkupi match bad on the already desperate pitch of the Boris Trajkovski stadium in the Madjari neighborhood, so the duel was postponed for Thursday.

The match took place the next day at FFM’s Petar Miloshevski Training Center in Novo Lisice. The winning goal for Shkupi was the work of defender Mario Mladenovski in the 16th minute with a header after Ali Adem’s corner kick.
