Without any announcement Rabotnichki closed the door of the stadium for Sunday’s match against Shkupi, leaving the fans to wait outside confused.

In a devastating move towards the domestic football, Rabotnichki showed how a football club should not behave. The team hosted Shkupi in today’s Round 8 of the Macedonian top flight, but unlike the other home matches, this time the Debar Maalo club decided not to allow spectators. the reasons are not known, as Rabotnichki is not punished by FFM. It must have been an internal decision.

The problem is that Rabotnichki the last few days was posting in all social media promotional posts about the match and never informed that the match will be closed for spectators, for reasons only they know.

Rabotnichki doesn’t have thousands of fans, so those who wanted to watch the match live, including foreign groundhoppers and ordinary Shkupi followers, found all entrances locked. We as well went, not as journalists but as fans, wanting to buy a ticket. We couldn’t enter. We found out that only the VIP entrance was opened so we tried there.

– Are you on the list? – a very old men answered at the door.

We weren’t on any list, we were just Macedonian football lovers who wanted to watch a match.

– If you are not on the list you can not enter. Sorry – said the old men and very impolitely slammed to door to our faces.

This will definitely be our last Rabotnichki match. We are not on the list, so from now own Rabotnichki will not be on our list!
