Newspapers are reporting that Kjatip Osmani offered his resignation after Shkendija was eliminated from the Macedonian Cup by Bregalnica.  The management of the club decided to accept the resignation so Osmani is no longer the manager of the defending league champions.  The timing could not be worse for Shkendija since they were getting ready to face Vardar on the road in an important match of two teams near the top of the table.  Currently, Vardar has 20 points while Shkendija is closely behind with 18 points.

So, for tomorrow’s game against Vardar, Shkendija will be led by the top assistant Erhan Salimi.  In the meantime, Shkendija will begin the search for a permanent solution after the sudden resignation of manager Kjatip Osmani who was popular with both the players and fans of the Tetovo based club.
