Pandev wants contract termination

Goran PandevWith the help of the Lega Calcio, Goran Pandev hopes that he will terminate his contract before January 2010 and will leave Lazio as a free agent.

As Goal.com reports, the Macedonian striker has made an official filed legal action against SS Lazio at the arbitration of the Lega Calcio, for an immediate termination of his contract with the club that expires in June next year.

As already known, Lazio’s stuborn president Claudio Lotito, has no intention to sell Pandev for less than €19 million, a sume that no club is willing to pay. This summer, Pandev rejected Zenit’s offer of €15 because he doesn’t want to play in Russia, while Inter’s offers of €10 million + Quaresma or Materazzi (loan) were rejected by Lazio. Genoa also made an official offer but Lotito asked for €10 million and the youth team defender Salvatore Bocchetti that Genoa didn’t want to sell. After the end of the summer transfer period, Inter have also made several attemps to get Pandev, but this time for less money, €5.5 million plus David Suazo.

Pandev haven’t played an official game for Lazio since last season. His wish not to extend his current contract wasn’t understood by Lazio’s board and now he is punnished to watch his team-mates from the stands of Olimpico. He can’t take it anymore the torture and is determind with the help of his lawyer, Mattia Grassani, to take the next step in the cort room. Along him, Argentine midfield Cristian Ledesma is also hoping to win this cold war with Lazio, while the other rebel, Lorenzo De Silvestri found a way out and is now playing for Fiorentina.

If Pandev terminates his contract, than a few clubs are expected to fight for his signature. For now, official interest have shown: Inter, Juventus, Genoa, Fiorentina and Napoli from Italy and also Zenit St. Peterburg from Russia, while speculations are saying that Bayern München and Liverpool and also after the “rebel”.
