It appears that the international break came at the right time for Pelister. After settling for draws in the opening three rounds, Pelister finally got its first win of the new season. The Bitola based club celebrated an impressive 3:1 victory over Ljubanci, a team although newly promoted is one of the main contenders for promotion. Ljubanci had 7 points after three rounds, so this was their first defeat.

Teteks was facing the same situation as Pelister. They also had three draws in three rounds, so they were desperate to turn things around. Teteks has one of the best teams on paper in the Second League, but they haven’t played like it in the beginning of the campaign. On Saturday, however, Teteks notched a hard fought road win over Makedonija Gjorche Petrov. The lone goal was scored by Benjamin Demir, one of the summer newcomers.

Gostivar also found a way to win a difficult road clash. They beat Vlazrimi 77 2:1, with the opponent scoring a consolation goal 13 minutes from time. That made for a nervy finish, but Gostivar held on. As a result, the winning side now tops the table.

Skopje won the local derby against Gorno Lisiche 1:0. The game was decided in the 81st minute thanks to a goal by Alekso Noveski.

Finally, Kozhuf Miravci stayed in last place with another loss, this time to Pobeda. Kozhuf has yet to even score a goal this season. Nikolche Sharkoski was the hero for Pobeda by notching the only goal. Even though it’s early, Kozhuf Miravci and Gorno Lisiche look to be the two firm favorites for direct relegation.
