With a week delay eventually started the new season in the Macedonian second division.

From this season the second league is in a single group with all teams playing each other twice. Some famous names are there, such as Vardar, Pelister, Belasica, then teams with a heavy second division experience such as Teteks and Gostivar, while debutantes are Arsimi.

After postponing the opening round last weekend, it was planed the Round 1 to be put on some date later in the calendar and the season to begin this weekend with the Round 2 matches, but the FFM decided to moved each round of the first half-season, meaning that the winter break will start a week later, on December 11.

Promotion favorites Vardar, Pelister, Gostivar and Voska Sport started with planned 3 points, while Belasica slipped in Radovish. Sasa was surprised at home by Besa 1976 in their first ever encounter.
