The first half of the season concluded in the second division with an important road win for Pelister over table leaders Drita, Miravci was surprised at home by Lokomotiva, while Tikves piled on more misery to last placed Belasica.
Pelister managed to claim all three points in a hard fought road game against the current table leaders Drita. With the win, the club from Bitola is now tied for third place and finished the first half of the season just a point behind Drita and Treska who both have 29 points at the top of the table.
Promotion contenders Miravci suffered a disappointing loss at home. Lokomotiva was able to surprise Miravci and collect a 0:1 road victory to become the first team to defeat Miravci on its home ground this season. Tikves, another promotion candidate, defeated last placed Belasica to make the race at the top of the table even more interesting. Only three points separate the top six teams on the table which should make for a compelling race in the second half of the season. Treska and Gorno Lisice shared the points with a draw, same as Gostivar – Vlazrimi and Korab – Skopje. In the other games, Rufeja clinched an important win in their hopes to avoid relegation by defeating Osogovo, while Ohrid Lote closed the first half of the season on a positive note by getting past Pobeda Junior.
The Second League will continue in exactly three months with Round 16 scheduled for 4 March 2012.
Ohrid Lote – Pobeda Junior 3:2
Gorno Lisice – Treska 2:2
Miravci – Lokomotiva 0:1
