Macedonian First League – Round 31

First LeagueVardar defeated Napredok while Horizont Turnovo lost to Metalurg and the difference between the top 2 teams is now 4 points with two rounds to go. Teteks and Sileks are officially relegated.

Vardar easily defeated Napredok with a goal by Manevski and three more by Kostovski and with Horizont Turnovo losing their first match at home this season, Vardar’s advantage over second placed Turnovo is now 4 points with two rounds to go.

Horizont Turnovo had an excellent record at home without a single defeat until one of their most important matches this season. Although twice they managed to equalize Metalurg’s one goal leads, eventually the visitors celebrated a high win and kept their theoretical chances for reaching Vardar on the first place.

On the other end of the table, Pelister defeated Renova, while Drita won against Teteks and both teams still have some hope of avoiding the 9th and 10th place.

Fans saw goals galore in Shtip, where Bregalnica won against Shkendija 4:3. Muzafer Ejupi scored a hat-trick for Shkendija, but his three goals were not enough and the home team kept all the points. Rabotnichki managed to turn things around for them although they were down by 2 in 50th minute against Sileks. However, the Debar Maalo club won 3:2.
