Macedonia will host European champions Spain on the renovated National arena Philip II of Macedon on 12th August, as part of the 100-years anniversary of football in Macedonia.

As the Football Federation of Macedonia informs, they have received confirmation from the Spanish Football Federation that the current European champions and record holders with 15 consecutive wins and 35 consecutive matches undefeated, will arrive in Skopje with their strongest available squad. FFM have also received confirmation from the authorities that the new stand on the stadium formerly known as the Gradski stadium in Skopje, will be finished on time for the match.

The match will be played on 12th August, 2009 at 22:00.
