altGoran Popov suffered thigh injury and will be out for several weeks.

Goran Popov has injured his left leg and recovery will take several weeks. He has strained his muscle on the back thigh of his left leg. After only 12 minutes of playing for Dynamo against Metalurh Zaporizhya on Saturday, Popov felt frozen leg and asked for a substitution.

‘I think this is due to fatigue. I have played two matches for the national team, traveled a lot and unfortunately earned an injury’ told Popov Dynamo’s official website.

Considering Macedonia plays their next match on 8th of October against Andorra, and 4 days later against Russia, it is likely Popov will be ruled out of contention and Partizan’s Lazevski could be a starter.
