Shkendija won the final Europa League spot after Vardar dropped points in Shtip, while Rabotnichki received the trophy.
Before the game against Turnovo, Rabotnichki received the trophy for winning the First League this season, making a small celebration at the Kukush stadium. Since the result had no big value, both teams played without preasure. The lone goal was scored by Najdenov two minutes before the break bringing Turnovo the 3 points with which they stayed on the 2nd position.
Vardar needed a win to clinch the 4th position, last leading into the Europa League qualifications this summer. But the Red&Black played a goalless draw, allowing Shkendija to grab their place. Shkendija had problems with Pelister but only in the first half that ended goalless. In the second half they score 4 past the visitors from Bitola and celebrated an Europa League spot.
Metalurg beat relegated Makedonija GjP away to secure the 3rd place. Gorno Lisiche gave Gostivar a point, ending their run of 9 games without a single point. Napredok and Renova played a goalless draw although the home team played with 10 men since the 58th minute when Boban Veljanoski was sent off.
After the season has ended, these are the outcomes:
Champions League qualifications: Rabotnichki
Europa League qualifications: Turnovo, Metalurg, Shkendija
Relegation to Second League: Gorno Lisiche, Makedonija GjP, Napredok, Gostivar
Next 2014/15 season will start in August with Sileks and Teteks joining the 8 remaining teams. Remember, from now on the First League will feature 10 instead of 12 teams.
