First League – Round 11

First League First 11 rounds from season 2013/14 are completed and it seems like this championship will be very even.

Shkendija defeated Renova in the city derby 1:3 and pleased its’ fans after a while. The ambitious project Shkendija announced did not had the best start, probably because the players got together very late so they will need time for team cohesion. However, they have noted a very important win today, against their city rivals Renova. Polozhani opened the scoreline as early as minute one, while Gafuri equalized the score after a messy clearance by Marko Jovanovski, Shkendija’s keeper. However, Renova’s keeper Zendeli ‘returned the favor’ when he made a mistake in clearing a ball and Selmani capitalized, heading a ball home from a distance. Nuhiu confirmed the win and set the final score in 73rd minute.

In Shtip, as well as in Gjorche Petrov the fans saw no goals. Bregalnica and Metalurg shared the points in a goalless draw as well as Makedonija Gjorche Petrov and Pelister.

Gorno Lisiche got the battle of the bottom, defeating Napredok 2:0. Aleksandar Pandovski and Alen Jasharoski who is on loan from Horizont Turnovo created the home team’s win.

Horizont Turnovo had no problems with Gostivar and noted a convincing 5:1 win. Gostivar had to play 80 minutes with 10 men as Damir Marijan was sent off in the 10th minute. Dejan Blazhevski scored a hat-trick for the home team and Ejupi and Najdenov added one more goal for Turnovo’s big win over Gostivar.
