FIFA rankings: Macedonia goes up 2 places

Macedonia moved up two places gaining 8 points since the previous rankings. That is thanks to the wins over Gibraltar and Armenia in the Nations League.

The small amount of points since the August ranking is due to the wins over national teams that have worse ranking than us with Gibraltar being even one of the worst ranked overall. Also, the new ranking system is to blame as well.

Currently Macedonia is ahead of two teams that participated at the 2018 FIFA World Cup with those two being Panama and Saudi Arabia. Worth to note is that we are one point ahead of African giants Algeria.
