The Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) has announced an extraordinary general assembly to take place at the end of July.
FFM surprised the public today by announcing an extraordinary general assembly, to be held on 29 July. All the members of the board of directors have resigned, with only president Haralampie Hadji-Risteski and vice-president Kenan Idrizi remaining in their positions until the scheduled assembly takes place towards the end of last month.
In other news, Masar Omeragikj will be allowed to run for the president post after his suspension was removed. Every municipality football association will have the right to nominate their candidate for president of FFM.
This might mean that the era of Hadji-Risteski’s leadership at FFM might come to an end, unless the delegates of the general assembly decide to give him support once again.
