Velkoski expresses desire to leave Sarajevo

Krste VelkoskiIf Krste Velkoski has it his way, he would be playing for a new team in 2016.

The Bosnian league, where Krste Velkoski plays for FK Sarajevo, is currently on winter break. Velkoski told websete “avaz.ba” that he is ready for a change of scenery after two years with Sarajevo. Krste is signed until the summer, but he is eligible to talk to other teams since he has less than six months on his deal.

Velkoski told “Avaz” that he is receiving interest from Russia, Turkey and South Korea. He would not reveal which clubs have submitted offers, but Krste did say that he is close to reaching a decision.

Since joining Sarajevo in January of 2014, Velkoski has amassed 31 goals in 75 games. During his time there, he also became a regular member of the national team. Velkoski has a close relationship with current manager Igor Angelovski dating back to their Rabotnichki days.
