The winner of the South managed to beat Vardari once again to confirm the promotion into the Second League.

Eventually we know all the Second League participants for the season 2016/17. The last team to join is Vardar from Negotino, winner of the Third League South who today defeated the winner of the Third League West in the return leg of the promotion play-off.

Vardar beat Vardari with 3:0 in the first leg on Sunday, while today they celebrated a 2:0 win. Chaushev in the 24th minute broke all the hopes for a miracle of the Forino based team, while Najdov in the 67th minute confirmed the win.

The Negotino based club returns to the Second League after 7 seasons spent in the Third League South. On the other hand, Vardari for the first time in its history had a chance to win a Second League place, but failed.
