Yani Urdinov was present at the winter training camp for Jihlava where he will look to secure a contract.
The 24-year-old Yani Urdinov has been without a team since the summer. He had been training on his own to stay in shape, but Czech club Jihlava invited him to compete for a roster spot this winter. So, Urdinov was there on Monday as Jihlava began their preparations for the second half of the campaign.
Urdinov, a left-back, will be observed by the coaching staff before a decision is made about his future. Jihlava will also play in several friendlies, which would afford Urdinov the opportunity to showcase his qualities. That is obviously dependent on how long his trial period lasts. A trial can last several days (if a player fails to impress) or several weeks. It should be known sometime this month whether Jihlava will retain Urdinov.
