UEFA fines Vardar with €30.000

The fireworks show by Komiti, the dog running on the field and playing with keeper Filip Gachevski, throwing object as well as the insufficient organsiation at the stands are the reasons for UEFA to fine Vardar for the last Europa League match against Rosenborg in Skopje.

UEFA anounced on the oficial web site the following statement regarding Vardar’s fine:


The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) has announced the following decision:

Match: UEFA Europa League group stage match between FK Vardar and Rosenborg BK (1-1), played on 7 December 2017 in Macedonia.

Charges against FK Vardar:

– Setting off of fireworks – Article 16 (2) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations (DR)
– Throwing of objects – Art. 16 (2) DR
– Insufficient organisation – Art. 11 (1) DR

Decision: The CEDB has decided to fine FK Vardar €30,000.
