In a very active and pretty even play by both sides, the young Macedonians had a revenge over their Israeli counterparts for Tuesday’s defeat.
The opening goal came in the 21st minute when Toshevski brought joy to the few fans that showed up at the stadium. He broke the dead-lock with a shot from the right inside the box. The visitors had few more attempts towards the Macedonian goal, but never managed to put the ball behind Alchevski.
Instead, three minutes from time Elezi doubled the lead after successfully converting a penalty kick awarded due to a foul inside the box.
