Macedonian U19 national team with head coach Shkumbin Arslani is using the winter break to make a mini training-camp in the Mediterranean resort of Antalya, Turkey. Yesterday the young Macedonians played a friendly match with their Bulgarian counterparts in which they ended up being well beaten with four goals to null.
Our national team did not play with the best players as several were missing due to having club activities such as the likes of Luka Stankovski, Metodi Maksimov, Dimitar Todorovski, Mario Ilievski, Kristijan Tasevski and Berat Kalkan, while additional handicap happened when Luan Abazi got injured on a training the day before the match.
Macedonia will play two more friendlies in Antalya, against Ukrainian giant Dinamo on February 1st and against Moldova U19 on the 3rd.
