U19: Germany – Macedonia 5:0

In the opening match of Group 5 in the U19 qualifications, Macedonia suffered a 5:0 loss against Germany.

The match was played in Luxembourg, which is the host country for Group 5 of the U19 qualifications.  Macedonia U19 frustrated their counterparts from Germany for the majority of the opening 45 minutes, but Germany did score a goal from a penalty just before halftime to take some momentum into the locker room.  From there on, Germany U19 took over in the 2nd half, scoring four more goals to cement the 5:0 victory.
