Third League South – Round 1

The Third League South started this weekend with wins by the top twp promotion contenders in Borec and Kozhuf.

Borec from the city of Veles has a new sponsor and the once regular First League participant back in the ’90s is a big favorite to secure promotion together with Kozuf from Gevgelija.  Both teams opened the season with easy wins and also scored 6 goals apiece against Topolchani and Rosoman 83, respectively.  On the other end, all of the promoted teams into the Third League South got off to a bad start with Bratstvo 07 and Vardarski losing their matches.
