Macedonia avoids suspension

Macedonian football avoids isolation and suspension by FIFA and UEFA. The old president of the Macedonian Football Federation was allowed to return in the federation only an hour before the FIFA Emergency Committee discussion for sanctions on Macedonian football because of the dual leadership in FFM.

The fights continue

The fights on the football fields in Macedonia continue. But not fights for points, but fights in the real meaning of the word. The youth players of Cementarnica 55 were attacked and brutaly beaten by the fans of Sloga Jugomagnat and 5 of them ended up in hospital.

Artim Polozani moves to Germany

Artim Polozani, the player of the year 2006 and member of the Macedonian national team signed for TuS Koblenz. The 25 years old midfielder and former member of Makedonija GP signed a 3 years contract with the club from the 2nd German Bundesliga.

Boban Jancevski – player of the season

Boban Jancevski has been chosen as best player of the Macedonian First League for the 2006/07 season. He won on three different polls organized by MacedonianFootball.com, the daily sports newspaper "Makedonski Sport" and on the joined poll by the daily newspaper "Dnevnik" and the "Sportsko Radio 90.3"

Macedonia defeated by Israel

Macedonian national team continued continued their bad run on home played matches with another defeat. Israel won important points in Skopje to keep the pressure up on Croatia, Russia and England for qualifying for the Euro 2008 from Group E.
