According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Parma is close to sending Stefan Ristovski on loan to Serie B side Sassuolo.
As reported earlier, fellow Serie B side Ternana is also interested in securing Ristovski on loan but Sassuolo has a clear advantage at this point, according to the Italian newspaper. The expectation is that the loan will be finalized soon which will allow Ristovski to gain added experience in a better league after spending last season on loan with Italian third division side Frosinone.
Sassuolo finished in 3rd place this past season and just avoided promotion to Italy’s Serie A. The teams from 3rd to 6th place entered the promotion play-offs, including Sassuolo who fell short of winning promotion after being defeated by Sampdoria.
