photo by FC Shkupi: Ilijoski walks as Jashoroski receives a hug after breaking the dead lock
This encounter was postponed when few hours before the kick-off Pelister reported that the whole team had food poisoning. On their way to Skopje the team stopped to eat in Veles where the later inspection confirmed that the salad was the one that caused the poisoning.
Shkupi started furiously towards the visiting goal. After just five minutes of play Jasharoski broke the dead lock. Seven minutes later Ilijoski escaped his guard, passed by keeper Atanasovski and scored on empty net.
Pelister came back in game with a great first touch goal by Ljamchevski in the 18th minute. Their hopes for a positive result were ruined in the 32nd minute with Ilijoski’s second goal. Jasharoski was the one who take a shot, but the ball hit the post and reached Ilijoski who had no problems scoring.
The second half just had started when Ilijoski celebrated a hat-trick. Keep in mind that Bazhe Ilijoski joined Shkupi this winter from Pelister and that was the reason why he did not celebrate any of his goals today.
The visitors managed to pull one back through Markoski who converted a penalty kick that was awarded after Mariano Ondo played with hand in the box. Still, a bit later Shkupi brought back the three goal difference when Bunjamin Shabani walked past the visiting defense and scored.
With this 3 points Shkupi rejoins the battle for a Europa League spot, while Pelister stays on the last place.
