Goce Sedloski, the only player to make 100 appearances for Macedonia, will join the coaching staff of John Toshack as an assistant coach.
Sedloski will join Boban Babunski and Cameron Toshack, the son of Jon Toshack, as assistant coaches under Toshack. Since Babunski is the manager of the U21 team, he missed some games with the senior national team when both teams had games on the same day. Therefore, Toshack decided to hire another assistant coach who knows Macedonian football and he settled for Goce Sedloski.
The 37-year-old Sedloski retired from football last year to become an assistant coach for Austrian club Mattersburg. Now, he will also become an assistant for the Macedonian national team under Toshack.
In the upcoming friendly against Albania on 15 November, in his hometown of Prilep, Sedloski will receive a commemorative cap and medal from UEFA for achieving at least 100 appearances for Macedonia. All European players who have achieved that feat of at least 100 caps for their respective national teams will get honored by UEFA with Sedloski being the only Macedonian player on the list.
