Forward Samir Fazli will play the rest of the season on loan to Dutch second league side Helmond Sport.
After he played in only 7 games for Heerenven this season and in all of them he came in from the bench, Samir Fazli will try to get more playing time in Helmond Sport, member of the Dutch second league. The 21-years-old forward scored 1 goal for Heerenveen this season and it was in the Europa League qualification game against Rapid Bucureşti when he netted the final goal of a 4:0 win. His new club Helmond Sport is currently in the promotion play-off zone, sharing the second place on the table, with only 2 points behind first placed Maastrichtse VV (only the first gains direct promotion).
Fazli was part of the Macedonian senior national team in the era of John Toshack, but hasn’t been called since due to the lack of playing time. This is a chance for him to get back in form.
