Lazio played a cup match against Milan yesterday and Goran Pandev was the man who made the difference. He earned a penalty first and then scored the decisive goal in the extra time.
Lazio reached the quarter finals in Coppa Italia and mainly thanks to Goran Pandev. Though the match wasn't going in best direction for Lazio despite Milan was playing with 10 men from 66th minute, Pandev with a penalty earned and a goal scored brought his team an impressive victory over favorites. Shevchenko put Milan into lead, but Guiseppe Favalli fouled Pandev in the box three minutes from time and Mauro Zárate equalized. Then, right after the extra-time started, Pandev received a long ball, forced Dida into a save, the ball reached Zárate but Dida once again blocked the shot before eventually Pandev collected it and scored the winning goal.
