Overview of Macedonian Cup 1/8 finals 1st leg (Video)

All favorites celebrated wins in the first leg with only the encounter between Vardar and Makedonija GjP ending in a draw. No second league side managed to stay undefeated.

The most entertaining match took place in Shtip where second league East side Bregalnica welcomed Akademija Pandev. Hero for the visitors was Mario Krstovski who scored incredible four goals leading the academy to a 5:2 road win.

Holders Shkendija had no problems with second league East participant Kit-Go despite fielding some of the reserve players. The Pehchevo team did surprise and eliminate Shkupi in the previous round, but Shkendija proved to be too much.

Vardar had a difficult game against the Lions from Gjorche who took an early lead and managed to keep it until the 72nd minute when Vardar eventually equalized.

Despite playing with ten men Rabotnichki scored a winner to celebrated in Kavadarci against Tikvesh. Belasica and Sileks beat Pelister and Skopje, while Gostivar was closest to stay undefeated. They lost at home by Pobeda with a late winner. So, no second league team managed to stay undefeated today.

The return legs are scheduled to be played on October the 3rd. Keep in mind that second league West side Korabi was drawn as the lucky team to skip this round.
