One of the best domestic players in the past 3 years and captain of FK Rabotnicki, Nderim Nedzipi, left the current champions and moved in the Belgian side K. Lierse S.K. Nedzipi signed a 3 years deal that will keep him in Belgium until the end of the 2010/2011 season.
Nderim Nedzipi won 2 league titles and one cup title with FK Rabotnicki. He was also part of the team in the successful runs in the Champions League two years ago and in the UEFA Cup last season. With only 23 years he became captain of Rabotnicki as he was the best player in the red&white jersey.
The talented midfielder started his career at FK Sloga Jugomagnat Skopje, than as a big talent moved to the 1.Bundesliga team VfL Wolfsburg. In Germany he also played for Hertha BSC Berlin but many injuries influenced his career and had to come back in the Macedonian championship where firstly he signed for FK Vardar Skopje where he had a big raw with their manager Vujadin Stanojković so he moved to their local rivals FK Rabotnicki Skopje.
Macedonian daily paper Makedonski Sport is speculating that Lierse payed 1.100.000 Euros to Rabotnicki for Nedzipi. His new club last season was relegated from the Belgian Jupiler League into the 2nd league and next season will fight to get back among the best.
Nedzipi (now 24) is still waiting for his first call in the macedonian national team. Current national team coach Srečko Katanec was few times under public presure to call Nedzipi in the squad but he never did that. Nedzipi surely deserves a chance in the national team.
