Striker Mirko Ivanovski signed a 3 year deal with CFR Cluj as he will remain in the Romanian league.
Since he was no longer in the plans of Astra, Mirko Ivanovski has secured a transfer to CFR Cluj with the hopes of receiving more consistent playing time. CFR Cluj is very thin at striker and their manager has appealed to ownership to sign multiple forwards this summer. Mirko Ivanovski is the first attacker that’s now been added, and it’s likely that another one will be added before the end of the summer transfer window.
CFR Cluj stated on its official website that Ivanovski signed a 3 year deal and will wear the jersey #99. They showed the most concrete interest and then agreed terms with both the player and his now former club, Astra. Ivanovski will join team trainings immediately and Mirko would be eligible to play for CFR Cluj if they reach the third qualifying round of the Europa League qualifications.
Ivanovski chose CFR Cluj over interest from clubs in Russia and Israel.
