Midweek internationals performances

Ivan Trichkovski scored as his team advanced in the Cypriot Cup, six Macedonian face in the Albanian Cup with four of them advancing, Ristovski and Najdenov did not got a chance in the Europa League and the Asian Champions league.

UEFA Europa League, Astana – Sporting 1:3
Stefan Ristovski remained on the bench for the visitors who with this result practically booked a place in the eight-finals.

AFC Champions League, Al-Rayyan – Esteghlal 2:2
Bojan Najdenov wasn’t summoned by the Iranian team for the opening group stage round against the Qatari side. He is on the CL list, just wasn’t summoned for this game.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Partizani – Flamurtari 2:1
Egzon Belica played the whole game for the hosts, Besart Abdurahimi got only the last 6 minutes when he substituted Jurgen Bardhi. Alban Sulejmani and Emran Ramadani remained at the home bench. For the visitors, 5 Macedonians started the game: Artim Polozhani, Goran Siljanovski, Muhamed Useini and Fisnik Zuka with only the last not playing the entire game as he got substituted by Ardit Hoxhaj in the 80th minute. The first three got booked. Muarem Muarem remained at the bench. The aggregate result is 2:2, but Flamurtari advanced thanks to the away goal rule.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Skënderbeu – Teuta 3:0
Both Bojan Gjorgievski and Burhan Mustafov played the full 90 minutes for the visiting team who is eliminated with 5:0 on aggregate.

Cyprus, Kýpello Kýprou, Aris – AEK 1:2
Vlatko Drobarov welcomed Ivan Trichkovski with their teammates keeper Edin Nuredinoski and defender Daniel Mojsov being given a rest having in mind the importance of this match since the winner was settled in the first leg (AEK won 4:0). Drobarov played the whole game, while Trichko scored for 1:1 in the 32nd minute and was later taken off for Elvir Maloku in the 69th minute.
