Midweek internationals performances

Jahovic scored on his debut against Galatasaray, Daniel Mojsov and Ivan Trichkovski scored in just 9 minutes span in a league game on Cyprus, Elif Elmas assisted in the Turkish Cup where he recorded his first start, while six Macedonians featured in a single cup game in Albania.

Albania, Kupa e Shqipërisë, Flamurtari – Partizani 1:0
Artim Polozhani, Goran Siljanovski, Muhamed Useini and Fisnik Zuka played the full 90 minutes for Flamurtari for whom Muarem Muarem wasn’t summoned. For the visitors, Egzon Belica played the whole match, Emran Ramadani came in from the bench, while Alban Sulejmani and newest signing Besart Abdurahimi weren’t in the squad. It’s an active result and surely it will be a tough return leg where both teams will be looking to book a spot in the semis.

Albania, Kupa e Shqipërisë, Teuta – Skënderbeu 0:2
Both Bojan Gjorgievski and Burhan Mustafov started for Teuta. Their team is practically eliminated as it will have a mountain to climb in the return leg.

Cyprus, Protáthlima Cyta, AEK – Doxa 4:0
Daniel Mojsov broke the dead lock after just two minutes of play. It came on a header after a corner kick. In the 11th minute Ivan Trichkovski joined him on the goalscoring list. The fourth goal came after a header by Trichko that got saved, but his teammate scored on the rebound. Mojsov played the whole game while Trichko was taken off 15 minutes from time to make space for Hector Hevel.

Davor Zdravkovski wasn’t summoned by AEL.

Aleksandar Damchevski was the whole game part of Ermis’ defense that despite conceding 3 goals still came out victorious.

Cyprus, Protáthlima Cyta, Ethnikos – Aris 0:4
Martin Bogatinov conceded 4 four goals against the team of fellow keeper Edin Nuredinoski and Vlatko Drobarov who kept clean sheet. All three played the whole 90 minutes.

England, Championship, Hull City – Leeds United 0:0
Ezgjan Alioski started for Leeds and played until the 86th minute when Hadi Sacko took his place. He run a lot up and down the right flank, but didn’t contributed much offensively as his team was very defensive. He did cause three yellow cards for fouls made on him and had one chance to score.

Portugal, Liga NOS, Sporting – Vitória de Guimarães 1:0
Stefan Ristovski played the whole match for the home side.

Turkey, Ziraat Türkiye Kupası, Giresunspor – Fenerbahçe 1:2
Elif Elmas made his first start for Fener and immediately left a mark. He assisted to Mehmet Topal with a header in the 26th minute when his team took the lead. On half-time Elmas was left in the locker room as experienced Mathieu Valbuena stepped in. This was the first leg of the quarter-finals.

Turkey, Ziraat Türkiye Kupası, Konyaspor – Galatasaray 2:2
Adis Jahovic started on the bench before making his debut for Konyaspor in the 57th minute substituting Ömer Ali Şahiner. He was introduced two minutes after Galata scored twice to take a 2:1 lead. At the end Adis was Konya’s hero as he scored the equalizer in the first minute of the injury time.
