Ibraimi converts his penalty; photo: rtvslo.siAgim Ibraimi converted a penalty for Maribor in Champions League qualifying, Aleksandar Trajkovski collected an assist for Zulte Waregem, while Bazhe Ilijoski, Borche Manevski and Nijaz Lena each recorded one goal for their respective teams.

UEFA Champions League, Second qualifying round, Maribor – Zrinjski 2:0
Agim Ibraimi played the entire game for Maribor and scored the second goal in the 57th minute via a converted penalty kick.  Maribor got past Zrinjski to set up a date with Maccabi Tel-Aviv in the next round.

UEFA Champions League, Second qualifying round, Žalgiris – Dinamo Zagreb 0:2
Arijan Ademi started for Dinamo Zagreb and played until the 56th minute when he was substituted by Ante Ćorić.  Ademi also received a yellow card in the 11th minute.  Dinamo Zagreb won 4:0 on aggregate and will face Danish club Aalborg in the third round.

UEFA Champions League, Second qualifying round, Qarabağ – Valletta 4:0
Muarem Muarem was an unused substitute for Qarabağ who will now square up against Red Bull Salzburg of Austria in the next round of the qualifications.

UEFA Europa League, Second qualifying round, Zawisza – Zulte Waregem 1:3
Aleksandar Trajkovski came off the bench for Zulte Waregem in the 73rd minute to replace Ibrahima Conté.  Several minutes later, Trajkovski provided the assist on the final goal of the game when he set up Ólafur Skúlason.  Zulte Waregem moves on in the competition as their next opponent will be Shakhtyor from Belarus.

UEFA Europa League, Second qualifying round, Ferencváros – Rijeka 1:2
Adis Jahovikj was an unused substitute for Rijeka who won 3:1 on aggregate to book a spot in the third qualifying round of the Europa League.

UEFA Europa League, Second qualifying round, Haugesund – Sarajevo 1:3
Krste Velkoski played all 90 minutes for Sarajevo who overcame a 0:1 loss in the first leg to eliminate Haugesund by scoring three goals in the return leg.  Sarajevo will now meet Atromitos in the third round.

UEFA Europa League, Second qualifying round, Slovan Liberec – Košice 3:0
Darko Tofiloski played from the start for Košice and conceded three goals as his club was easily eliminated from the Europa League by Slovan Liberec.

UEFA Europa League, Second qualifying round, Jagodina – CFR Cluj 0:1
Nikola Jakimovski got the start for Jagodina and played until the 62nd minute when he was replaced by Milos Lepovic.  As for CFR Cluj, the new club of Mirko Ivanovski, he wasn’t eligible for this game since he signed late.  CFR Cluj won this matchup 1:0 on aggregate to move on to face Dinamo Minsk from Belarus.

UEFA Europa League, Second qualifying round, Flamurtari – Petrolul 1:3
Nijaz Lena played the entire game for Flamurtari and scored the lone goal for his team in the 37th minute via a header.  Flamurtari, however, was eliminated 1:5 on aggregate against Petrolul.

UEFA Europa League, Second qualifying round, Inter Bakı – Elfsborg 0:1  (Elfsborg advanced 4:3 on penalties)
Slavcho Georgievski played the whole match for Inter Bakı who was eliminated from the Europa League by losing to Elfsborg in the penalty shootout.

Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, Muangthong United – BEC Tero Sasana 0:1
Mario Gjurovski played all 90 minutes for Muangthong United who suffered a slim loss by conceding the lone goal in the 77th minute.  Muangthong United is involved in a very tight race at the top of the table.

Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, Air Force United – Bangkok Glass 2:3
Darko Tasevski started for Bangkok Glass and played until the 66th minute when he was substituted by Lazarus Kaimbi, while his teammate Bazhe Ilijoski played the entire game in attack.  Ilijoski recorded a goal in the 33rd minute and then provided an assist on the game winner late in the game.

Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, Singhtarua – Chainat 1:2
Borche Manevski played from the start for Chainat and collected a goal and an assist for the winning side.  Manevski scored the game winning goal in the 79th minute when he converted a penalty to complete the 1:2 scoreline.

South Korea, K-League Classic, Jeju United – Jeonnam 2:0
Stevica Ristikj played the entire game for Jeonnam who conceded one goal in each half on their way to the loss against Jeju United.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Djurgården – Häcken 1:2
Leonard Zuta started at left-back for Häcken and played all 90 minutes in the narrow road victory over Djurgården.
