Markoski leaves Bregalnica for Vlazrimi

Riste Markoski left top division side Bregalnica to join the Second League promotion candidates Vlazrimi.

Surprise from Shtip. Bregalnica‘s best player during the first half-season left the club and joined Kichevo based side Vlazrimi that plays in the Second League. Markoski was included in our Team of the first half-season 2014/15 as a reserve DM/CM player. Markoski was clearly the brightest star in the under-performing team from Bregalnica. Surely, the good financial offer is the reason why he decided to join a Second League side.

Vlazrimi is currently tied for 2nd place with Gostivar, and will strive to keep that spot in order to gain direct promotion to the Macedonian top flight. The 28-year-old midfielder will be a solid addition to the squad as Vlazrimi will have an uphill climb against competitors such as Gostivar and Mladost Carev Dvor.

This won’t be the first time that Markoski will play in Kichevo as the Ohrid born player suited up for Napredok for several seasons before joining Bregalnica last winter. He has also featured for Pelister, while he started his career in his hometown club Ohrid. He has also made 2 appearances for the senior national team of Macedonia, both in friendlies. The first came back in December of 2012 against Poland, while the second came in June of 2014 versus China.
