Macedonian internationals performances

Bardhi assisted in Spain, Elmas and Mitrevski debuted for theirs teams in Turkey and Israel, Imeri netted a goal in Albania, Mahmudov converted a penalty kick in the Netherlands, while Ristovski won his first trophy in Portugal.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Flamurtari – Partizani 1:0
This game was full of players from Macedonia. Artim Polozhani, Goran Siljanovski and Muhamed Useini were starters for Flamurtari and each of them played all minutes, Fisnik Zuka began on the bench and was introduced in the 65th minute, while Muarem Muarem didn’t make the matchday squad. For Partizani, Egzon Belica spent the entire game in central defense, while his teammates Alban Sulejmani and Emran Ramadani opened on the bench. The former didn’t play, whereas Emran played from the 65th minute. Eventually, this was a lucky win for the home side as they netted the lone goal in the third minute of stoppage time.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Kamza – Laçi 3:1
Demir Imeri played a decisive role in Kamza’s victory as he scored the goal for the 2:1 lead in the 74th minute. Imeri opened on the bench and was introduced just four minutes before his goal.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Teuta – Lushnja 2:2
Bojan Gjorgievski and Burhan Mustafov arrived this winter to Teuta and both players from Macedonia directly made the start for their new team and played all minutes. Eventually, their team collected one point in the home encounter against Lushnja.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Vllaznia – Kukësi 1:3
Sedat Berisha opened in defensive for Vllaznia and played the entire game as his team lost at home against Kukësi. Furthermore, Sedat also picked up a yellow card in the 36th minute.

Australia, Hyundai A-League, Melbourne City – Newcastle United Jets 2:2
Daniel Georgievski began at right-back for the visitors and lasted all minutes on the pitch. His team had two times a lead, but the home team eventually picked up a draw. Daniel was also booked with a yellow card in the fifth minute of the first half stoppage time.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Charleroi – Royal Antwerp 1:1
Gjoko Zajkov was an unused substitute for Charleroi.

Belgium, Proximus League, OH Leuven – Westerlo 0:1
Jovan Kostovski didn’t make Leuven’s matchday squad.

Greece, Souroti Souper Ligka, Panionios – PAS Giannina 0:1
Mite Cikarski will wait for his debut for Giannina as he remained on the bench at this game.

Israel, Ligat Winner, Hapoel Akko – Hapoel Haifa 0:1
Risto Mitrevski finally made his debut for Hapoel haifa. He started from the bench making a late 88th minute appearance coming in instead of attacker Alon Turgeman. His team had to defend the lead in the last couple of minutes, so the Macedonian central defender was an expected substitution.

Italy, Serie A, Genoa – Udinese 0:1
Disappointing home loss for Goran Pandev‘s team. He played the whole game and was very active but nor he nor any of his teammates managed to find the back of the visiting net. The Genoa players were so bad in shooting that only two of their 19 shots ended within Udinese’s goal.

Italy, Serie B, Palermo – Brescia 2:0
Both Aleksandar Trajkovski and Ilija Nestorovski started the match. Aleks was the first to leave the pitch in the 79th minute when Stefano Moreo entered, before that he missed a great chance to score. Ile made space for Eddy Gnahoré in the 89th minute who later doubled the lead.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Dordrecht – Oss 2:0
Both Denis Mahmudov and Antonio Stankov were in the starting lineup for Dordrecht. Stankov played the whole match, while Mahmudov played until the 72nd minute when Terence Groothusen took his place. Mahmudov scored the second goal for his team from a penalty kick in the 63rd minute.

Stefan Ashkovski played only in the first half for Fortuna from Sittard.

Portugal, Taça da Liga, Vitória de Setúbal – Sporting 1:1 (4:5 p.s.o.)
Stefan Ristovski won his first trophy with Sporting. Ristovski spent the match on the substitute’s bench and his team managed to win on penalties.

Spain, Primera División, Deportivo La Coruña – Levante 2:2
Enis Bardhi entered the game for Levante at 51st minute replacing Colombian international Jefferson Lerma. Bardhi provided an assist to Ivi López at 80th minute for his team’s first goal at this game.

Stole Dimitrievski was Nàstic’s starting goalkeeper and he conceded two goals in their away loss.
