Macedonian internationals performances (31.08-03.09 ’18)

The Macedonian internationals proved to be in good form before the international break. Tihomir Kostadinov, Goran Pandev, Aleksandar Trajkovski, Denis Mahmudov, Marko Simonovski, Stefan Spirovski and Boban Nikolov scored goals, while Stefan Ristovski and Enis Bardhi assisted for their teams.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Luftetari – Flamurtari 0:1
Artim Polozhani and Goran Siljanovski were part of Flamurtari’s defense, while their teammate Muhamed Useini made a late substitute appearance as he was brought in the 83rd minute.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Kukësi – Tirana 3:1
Edis Malikji and Ardian Cuculi started for the hosts, whereas Dejan Blazhevski made the same for Tirana. Meanwhile, Dejan’s teammate Sedat Berisha didn’t play.

Bojan Najdenov didn’t play for the visitors, while his teammate Marjan Altiparmakovski opened on the bench and played from the 80th minute.

Bosnia-Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Čelik – Sarajevo 0:0
Krste Velkoski captained Sarajevo and opened on the left wing where he played the entire game. The game away to Čelik ended in a goalless draw.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Slaven Belupo – Hajduk 1:1
Mirko Ivanovski started in attack for Hajduk and played all minutes in the game away to his previous club Slaven. Eventually, Hajduk collected one point.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Dinamo – Rijeka 1:1
None of the three internationals from Macedonia was part of this game. Arijan Ademi missed the game due to injury, while Leonard Zhuta and Darko Velkovski were not called up by Rijeka’s coach.

Muzafer Ejupi continues to be sidelined by an injury.

Cyprus, Protáthlima Cyta, AEL – Doxa 2:0
Davor Zdravkovski played the whole match for the winning side, while his teammate Kire Markoski remained on the bench.

Dushko Trajchevski played the whole match for the hosts.

England, Championship, Leeds United – Middlesbrough 0:0
Ezgjan Alioski played the whole match for Leeds in the derby of the top of the table. With this draw, Leeds remain at first place, with Middlesbrough following as second.

Husein Demiri played the whole match for the visiting side, while Demir Imeri started the game and was taken off in 58th minute.

Damjan Shishkovski remained on the bench for the hosts.

Mite Cikarski remained on the bench in his side’s heavy defeat.

Both Stefan Spirovski for the hosts and Boban Nikolov for the visitors played the whole match for their respective sides and both scored a goal. Spirovski opened the scoreline with a goal in 14th minute, while Nikolov scored a real beauty just before half-time to make it 2:1

Risto Mitrevski played the whole game for the visitors who got defeated with a late winner.

Italy, Serie A, Sassuolo – Genoa 5:3
Goran Pandev played the entire match for Genoa and scored his first seasonal goal when in the 70th minute reduced the home lead to 5:2.

Italy, Serie B, Palermo – Cremonese 2:2
Aleksandar Trajkovski played the whole game while Ilija Nestorovski was introduced in the 72nd minute instead of César Falletti when the score was 1:1. It was Trajkovski who scored for the 1:0 lead in the 26th minute with a superb shot outside the box into the top right angle. Nestorovski had a chance to score near the end but his header was saved by the visiting keeper.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, Excelsior – Den Haag 2:4
Denis Mahmudov entered the match on half-time and scored a nice goal in the 72nd minute, but that wasn’t enough for Excelsior as they lost at home by Den Haag with 2:4. This was Mahmudov’s first goal for his new team in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Netherlands, Erste Divisie, NEC Nijmegen – Dordrecht 1:0
Antonio Stankov was the team’s captain and played the whole match for Dordrecht, but lost away to Nijmegen.

Portugal, Liga NOS, Sporting – Feirense 1:0
Stefan Ristovski got a late assist that saw Sporting pick up a hard fought 1:0 win over. He got bookede in the 61st minute and assisted to Jovane Cabral three minutes from time. Sporting has started well (10 points from the opening 4 rounds) and Ristovski has played all 360 minutes at right back position.

Marko Simonovski scored the winning goal for Sepsi early in the 3rd minute, picked up a yellow card in the before half-time and was later replaced in the 74th minute by Alyaksandr Karnitsky. Filip Gligorov played the whole match for the visiting team.

Zoran Danoski wasn’t included in Radnik’s squad for this match.

Aleksandar Todorovski played the whole match for Radnički, while Petar Krstikj wasn’t included in the away team’s squad.

Benjamin Demir wasn’t part of Spartak Subotica’s squad.

Enis Fazlagikj played the whole match for the home team, but was unable to help his team avoid the defeat by Slovan Bratislava.

Agim Ibraimi entered the match in the 68th minute for Domžale. His team finished the match with nine players and avoided being defeated in Celje.

Elif Elmas played the whole match for Fenerbahce. He earned a yellow card in the 51st minute and at the end his team was surprised by Kayserispor and lost at home with 2:3.
