Ivan Trichkovski scored two goals in his comeback after the injury, Stefan Ristovski assisted and got a VAR red card, while Ilija Nestorovski and Muzafer Ejupi both scored and got a red card.

Nestorovski sent a tricky low shot beating the opposing keeper, but towards the end of the match got 2 yellow cards in just 3 minutes and finished the match early. Aleksandar Trajkovski played 95th minutes for the away team and was taken off in the final second of the game when Palermo had to defend with 10 men.

Stefan Ristovski had a good start on his 50th appearance for Sporting as he assisted for the first goal in the 24th minute, but it ended in disaster because of a huge mistake by the referee. Ristovski made a sliding challenge and the ref thought he got ball first, leading to a Sporting counter which led to a bad foul and Chaves red card. Then, a VAR review occurred. Not only was Chaves’ red card rescinded, but Ristovski himself was shown red in the 88th minute.
