Macedonian internationals performances

Mirsad Mijadinoski Ilco Naumoski saved Mattersburg from a home defeat with an assist and a goal in a match where Ostoja Stjepanović, his new teammate, had his debut. Mirsad Mijadinoski scored also but for Újpest as his team defeated Aco Stojkov‘s Nyíregyháza. Goce Toleski had his debut for Sigma Olomouc with a defeat, Goran Pandev finally won with Lazio, while Goran Popov is still winning.

 

Italy, Serie A, Lecce – Lazio 0:2
Goran Pandev played the whole game for the Biancocelesti as they finally won after six games in a row without winning. He scored a goal with his head, but it was denied by the referee because of an obviuos offside position.

Germany, 2. Bundesliga, Mainz – Hansa Rostock 3:1
Nikolce Noveski played until the 32nd minute when had to leave the field because of a muscle injury. Danish international Bo Svensson took his place.

Holland, Eredivisie, Heerenveen – Willem II 3:1
Goran Popov played another good whole 90 minutes for Heerenveen.

Belgium, Jupiler League, Gent – Germinal Beerschot 1:3
Igor Mitreski played his 5th game for Germinal in which he was present the whole 90 minutes. With him on the field the team from the city of Beerschot still hasn’t lost a game.

Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, Mattersburg – Ried 2:2
All the three Macedonians in Mattersburg played in this interesting game under bad weather conditions. Only Goce Sedloski played the whole game, but Ilco Naumoski was the key player for the home team. He got in instead Matthias Linder in the 56th minute along with Ostoja Stjepanović who took the place of the Swedish midfielder Mattias Lindström. In the 83rd minute Naumoski first assisted to Bosnian international Adnan Mravac for 1:2, and only a minute later Naumoski scored for a final result of 2:2, bringing his team a point.

Czech, 1. Gambrinus Liga, Sigma Olomouc – Sparta Praha 0:1
Goce Toleski had his debut for Sigma in which he failed to help his team avoid a home defeat. He played the whole game.

Hungary, Soproni Liga, Nyíregyháza – Újpest 1:3
Aco Stojkov hosted Mirsad Mijadinoski in a game where the striker failed to score but instead Mijadinoski managed to do his job. Mijadinoski brought his team the lead in the 65th minute while two minutes earlier he was shown a yellow card. Both played the full 90 minutes.

Scotland, SFL Second Division, Alloa Athletic – East Fife 0:1
Goran Stanik played the whole game as the Fifes got back home with the three points.

Israel, Ligat ha’Al, Maccabi Petah Tikva – Hapoel Tel Aviv 1:1

Boban Grncarov played the full match for Maccabi.

Cyprus, Protathlima A’Katigopias, Ethnikos Achnas – APOP 1:4
Vance Sikov played the full 90 minutes for Ethnikos.

Petar Milosevski played the whole game for Enosis.

Cyprus, Protathlima A’Katigopias, AE Paphos – AEK Larnaca 0:3
Jane Nikoloski played the full 90 minutes for Paphos.

Azerbaijan, Premier League, FK Baku – Neftchi 2:0
Dragan Nacevski got in instead Georgian international Amiran Mujiri in the 77th minute, just one minute after Baku scored the second goal. Three points for Gjoko Hadzievski’s team.

Australia, A-League, Adelaide United – Queensland Roar 1:0
Sasa Ognenovski played the whole game for Adelaide as they defeated his former club Queensland and set up another Grand Final date with Melbourne Victory. Central defender Sasa Ognenovski played his final match at Hindmarsh Stadium for the Reds. The Grand Final, which will be last game for Ognenovski as he already signed for South Korean side Seongnam, will be played on 28th of February.
