Macedonian internationals performances (25-28.01.2019)

Ivan Trichkovski scored a brace while Stefan Ristovski won the Portuguese League Cup as Sporting defeated Porto on penalties. Stole Dimitrievski kept a clean sheet, Nikola Jakimovski took a point away to Panathinaikos, Bobi Celeski and Riste Ilijovski debuted in the Albanian league, Ezgjan Alioski continues to top the Championship table.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Kukësi – Laçi 0:0
Ardian Cuculi played the entire game for the hosts and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet, while his teammate Edis Malikji didn’t play. For the visitors midfielder Bojan Najdenov opened on the bench and made a late substitute appearance as he was introduced three minutes from time.

Riste Ilijovski began on Luftëtari’s bench and played the second half as he came in directly after the break. This was Riste’s first official game for his new club as he recently moved to Luftëtari from Macedonian second league side Pelister.

Egzon Belica started in central defense for Partizani and played all minutes in the big win away to Skënderbeu, while his teammates Besnik Ferati and Fatjon Jusufi didn’t play.

Goalkeeper Bobi Celeski made his first start for Teuta and conceded a penalty goal in the draw against Flamurtari. On the other side Muhamed Useini started and played the whole match, whereas Artim Polozhani didn’t play.

Daniel Georgievski played all minutes at right-back for Newcastle as his team suffered a loss away to Perth.

Gjoko Zajkov spent the entire game on the visitor’s bench.

Jovan Kostovski did not make the matchday squad for the visitors.

Kristijan Naumovski was 90 minutes between the posts as his team advanced intro the quarter-finals.He conceded one goal, but his unbeaten run continues as this was not a league but a cup encounter.

Denis Mahmudov watched the match from Excelsior’s bench.

Netherlands, Erste Divisie, Dordrecht – Jong PSV 1:3
Antonio Stankov played the entire match for the hosts who lost despite leading on half-time.

Portugal, Taça da Liga, Porto – Sporting 1:1 (1:3 p.s.o.)
Stefan Ristovski won his second trophy with Sporting. Ristovski played the whole match which ended 1:1 after Porto took the lead with a goal by Fernando in the 79th minute and Sporting equalized in the 92nd minute when Dost scored a penalty. Three players of Porto then missed their penalties and Sporting won their second consecutive trophy in the Portuguese League Cup.

Spain, Primera División, Sevilla – Levante 5:0
Enis Bardhi played until the 76th minute for Levante when Ivory Coast international Cheick Doukouré took his place. His team got smashed at this road game.

Spain, Primera División, Alavés – Rayo Vallecano 0:1
Stole Dimitrievski kept a clean sheet as Rayo surprised fifth-placed Alavés on the road. Incredible, Rayo is on a five game undefeated run and eventually got out of the relegation zone!

Turkey, Süper Lig, Konyaspor – Antalyaspor 2:0
Leonard Zhuta played whole game for Konyaspor while his teammate Adis Jahovic started and played till 77th minute when he was substituted by Malian international Mustapha Yatabaré.

Turkey, Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe – Malatyaspor 3:2
Elif Elmas got bench for this match and got a chance late in the 80th minute instead of André Ayew. Six minutes later his team scored the winning goal. It is the first win for his team after six rounds and even against the third-placed team.

Jani Atanasov didn’t make the matchday squad for Bursaspor.
