Macedonian internationals performances (23-26.11 ’18)

Krste Velkoski had a goal and an assist, Marjan Altiparmakovski netted one goal, while Mirko Ivanovski, Marko Simonovski, Aleksandar Trajkovski and Ivan Trichkovski provided one assist apiece for their respective teams.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Flamurtari – Partizani 1:0
Artim Polozhani and Muhamed Useini started for Flamurtari and played all minutes in the win against Partizani, while their teammate Goran Siljanovski didn’t play. For the visitors Egzon Belica was the whole game in defense, whereas Besnik Ferati wasn’t called up.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Kamza – Kukësi 0:2
Edis Malikji and Ardian Cuculi started for the visitors as their team won on the road against Kamza.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Laçi – Kastrioti 2:1
Marjan Altiparmakovski and Bojan Najdenov both were starters for Laçi in the win against Kastrioti. Marjan opened the score in the 61st minute when he netted with a left-footed shot from inside the box.

Right-back Bojan Gjorgievski was all minutes part of Teuta’s defense that kept a clean sheet in the narrow win against Luftëtari, while his teammate Bobi Celeski watched the game from the substitutes bench as he served as the reserve goalie.

Neither Dejan Blazhevski nor Sedat Berisha made the hosts matchday squad.

Australia, Hyundai A-League, Western Sydney Wanderers – Newcastle United Jets 0:2
Daniel Georgievski opened at right-back for Newcastle and played until the 83rd minute when he made way for Ivan Vujica.

Azerbaijan, Topaz Premyer Liqası, Səbail – Neftçi 0:2
Tome Kitanovski made the start for the hosts and played almost the whole game as he left the pitch in the 1st minute of stoppage time due to his second left card of the match. Eventually his team Səbail was downed at home by Neftçi.

Gjoko Zajkov did not make the bench for the visitors.

In the match between the two Macedonians playing in the Belgian Proximus League, Emil Abaz‘s Beerschot Wilrijk defeated Jovan Kostovski‘s OH Leuven. However, neither of the two players made the squad for their respective clubs.

Bosnia-Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Sarajevo – Zvijezda 09 3:1
Krste Velkoski lead Sarajevo to yet another win by assisting the first and scoring the second goal for the hosts in the 3:1 victory against Zvijezda 09. He lasted 74 minutes on the field when the manager decided to rest him.

Darko Glishikj finally made his league debut for Septemvri and played the full game in the much needed win against Cherno More.

Stefan Ashkovski started the game off the bench for Slavia and entered the field in the 70th minute by replacing the left wing Tsvetanot. Meanwhile, young goalkeeper Luka Nakov once again did not make the squad.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Rijeka – Dinamo 1:0
In a match that involved three Macedonian players and served as derby of the round in Croatia, Leonard Zhuta and Darko Velkovski‘s Rijeka defeated the league leaders Dinamo of Arijan Ademi. Ademi and Zhuta both played the full game for their respective clubs, whereas Darko Velkoski was once again out of action due to an injury. Zhuta also picked up a yellow card in the 36th minute.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Hajduk – Slaven Belupo 2:2
Mirko Ivanovski played the full game for Hajduk and assisted the first goal for his club. The visitors made a terrible pass in their defence which Ivanovski used to steal the ball and go against the goalkeeper but he only hit the right goalpost. However, Ghana international Said was first to reach the ball and scored to equalise 1:1 at that stage.

Agron Rufati spent the entire game on the visitors bench.

Muzafer Ejupi still remains sidelined by Osijek due to an injury.

Davor Zdravkovski played the whole match for the visiting side.

Goran Pandev did not get a chance to show his skills in the Derby delal Lanterna as he remained at Genoa’s bench. Since coach Igor Jurić took over he lost the first team spot. Also his team has only compiled 3 points in the last six matches.

Aleksandar Trajkovski and Ilija Nestorovski started in attack for Palermo. The former played 87 minutes, while Ilija spent 78 minutes on the pitch. Palermo was one goal down at half-time, but responded with one goal in the 67th minute to grab one point on the road. The assist was provided by Aleks who delivered the corner kick for Slobodan Rajković’s header.

Denis Mahmudov opened on the visitors bench and played the last 20 minutes after he replaced Mikael Anderson.

Antonio Stankov played the whole game for Dordrecht as his team gained one point on the road at Almere City.

Portugal, Taça de Portugal, Lusitano – Sporting 1:4
Stefan Ristovski didn’t play for Sporting as he is still injured.

Romania, Liga I Betano, Dunărea – Hermannstadt 0:1
Filip Gligorov was the hosts starting right-back and played the whole game, while Besart Abdurahimi opened on the visitors bench and played from the 40th minute. In the end Besart’s team won the game thanks to a late goal in the 5th minute of stoppage time.

Marko Simonovski came off Sepsi’s bench directly after the half-time break and played a big role in the win as he provided the assist for the lone goal scored in the 78th minute.

Ferhan Hasani made the visitors bench and played the last half hour in the loss away to Al Qadisiyah.

Zoran Danoski was an unused substitute for Radnik.

Aleksandar Todorovski as usual started for the hosts and played the entire game in the draw against Crvena Zvezda.

Dushan Savic and Milosh Tosheski were starters for Zemun. Dushan played 70 minutes, whereas Milosh lasted all minutes on the pitch and also picked up a yellow card in the 2nd minute.

Stefan Bogdanovski was unused substitute for Sereď while Enis Fazlagikj opened the game in midfield for Žilina and played until the 69th minute when Viktor Pečovský took his place. Fazlagikj was also booked at the 45th minute of the game.

Tihomir Kostadinov played till 89th minute for Ružomberok when he was substituted by Matúš Kmet while his teammate Yani Urdinov didn’t play due to red card suspension.

Milan Ristovski played whole game for Krško while his teammate Medin Bajrami wasn’t summoned for this game.

Stole Dimitrievski was Rayo’s starting goalkeeper and conceded three goals in his team’s away loss, but was not the one to blame for any of them. Actually, he had a good day.

Nikola Gjorgjev didn’t make the matchday squad for Grasshoppers.

Adis Jahovic opened in attack for Konyaspor and played until the 72nd minute when was replaced by Malian international Mustapha Yatabaré. Konyaspor managed to win a point with a goal scored from a penalty kick in the last minute of the game.
