Macedonian internationals with best weekend ever! (20-23.04 ’18)

This past weekend was a great one for our internationals. Enis Bardhi shocked Spain scoring two great goal directly from free kick, Aleksandar Trajkovski scored a goal in Italy and also provided an assist, Muarem Muarem made a brace and assisted once in Albania, Goran Pandev scored a goal of the season lob, while Ezgjan Alioski, Samir Fazli, Filip Ivanovski, Marko Simonovski, Muhamed Useini, Milovan Petrovikj, Denis Mahmudov and Adis Jahovic scored a goal apiece for their respective teams. Furthermore Krste Velkoski and Agim Ibraimi were credited with an assist and Stole Dimitrievski kept a clean sheet in Spain.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Vllaznia – Luftëtari 0:2
Sedat Berisha made the start in central defense for Vllaznia and played the entire match.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Flamurtari – Teuta 3:1
Goran Siljanovski, Muhamed Useini and Muarem Muarem were starters for Flamurtari, while their teammates Fisnik Zuka and Artim Polozhani didn’t play. For the visitors midfielder Burhan Mustafov made the starting line-up, whereas this time Bojan Gjorgievski didn’t play. Teuta opened the score already in the 8th minute, but Muarem responded with a brace in the 19th and 25th minute, whereas Useini netted the final goal in the 31st minute after Teuta’s goalie blocked a shot by Muarem, thus Flamurtari collected three important points in the race for an Europa League qualifications spot.

Gjoko Zajkov spent all minutes on the hosts bench.

Jovan Kostovski started at centre-forward and played until the 83rd minute. His team Leuven was one goal down after 63 minutes, but scored three goals in a span of just eight minutes to down the visitors.

Bosnia-Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Sarajevo – Široki Brijeg 2:0
Krste Velkoski captained Sarajevo and played all minutes as a supporting striker in the win against Široki Brijeg. Krste had a big role in the victory as he was involved in the creation of the opener and later in the 71st minute it was Velkoski who provided the assist for Sarajevo’s second goal. Meanwhile, Krste’s teammate Marjan Altiparmakovski didn’t make the squad for this encounter.

Aleksandar Lazevski started at left-back for Sloboda and played 73 minutes as his team suffered a narrow loss at home.

Vancho Trajanov wasn’t part of Lokomotiv’s matchday squad.

Bulgaria, Parva Liga, Cherno More – Slavia 2:0
Goalkeeper Luka Nakov for the first time was part of Slavia’s squad in league play and directly made his debut in the Bulgarian top tier as he was introduced in the 60th minute. At that point his team was already down 2:0, thus he played 30 minutes without conceding a goal. Luka turned 18 in January this year and shortly after that he moved from Macedonian club Gostivar to Slavia.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Hajduk – Dinamo 1:2
Arijan Ademi was fielded in defensive midfield by Dinamo and played all minutes in the big derby win away to Hajduk. In the 31st minute Arijan also received a yellow card for a foul.

Samir Fazli played the entire game in attack for the visitors and helped his team to gain a point on the road as he netted his teams equalizer in the 82nd minute.

Leonard Zhuta started for Rijeka and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet, while his teammate Milan Ristovski wasn’t called up. Meanwhile, Muzafer Ejupi didn’t make the visitors matchday squad.

Armend Dalipi wasn’t called up by Cibalia, while Mirko Ivanovski and Tome Kitanovski started for Slaven. The former played 86 minutes, whereas Tome had to be replaced in the 31st minute due to an injury.

Davor Zdravkovski was given the start and played the whole match for the winning side. He actually took part in the first goal as he sent a ball to a teammate who then assisted to the goalscorer Roman.

Daniel Mojsov started the game but he was taken off in 35th minute when he suffered an injury. It remains to be seen how much time will he be out. Ivan Trichkovski remained on the bench as these two teams meet again on Wednesday for the cup semifinal return leg. AEK has a 2:0 advantage from the first leg.

Aleksandar Damchevski did not play in this game as he is out with an injury.

Czech Republic, HET Liga, Slovácko – Dukla 2:0
Veliche Shumulikoski is still out with an injury as his team linked 2 consecutive wins and climbed up the table, escaping the relegation zone.

Ezgjan Alioski played 71 minutes for the winning side contributing to his team’s win with a goal and an overall good performance.

Filip Ivanovski played the whole match for the winning side and scored his first goal for his new club. We are still searching for a video of the goal. For the opposing side, Kosta Manev also played the whole match. Ivanovski’s RoPS is perfect with 4 wins from 4 games so far.

Mite Cikarski played the whole match for the home side.

Stefan Spirovski played the whole match for the home side. His club dropped points unexpectedly and now slipped to second place on the table.

Kire Ristevski remained on the bench in this very important game for both sides. Vasas are currently last on the table and will have a difficult time in avoiding relegation although safe places are within a reach.

Boban Nikolov played the whole match for the winning side and he was shown a yellow card. With this win and Ferencváros drawing, Videoton have jumped up to first place with 2 points ahead of Ferencváros.

Bojan Najdenov was at the home bench and came in as a last minute substitute just before the last whistle in the third minute of the injury time taking the place of fellow midfielder Farshid Esmaeili.

Risto Mitrevski didn’t play in this home defeat.

Italy, Serie A, Genoa – Verona 3:1
Goran Pandev stаrted on the bench and entered the field late in the 81st minute when the score was 2:1. He took the place of Iuri Medeiros. In the third injury minute Pandev set the final score of 3:1 with a beautiful lob strike. It is his fourth seasonal goal.

Aleksandar Trajkovski played the whole game in which he gave an impressive performance. The minutes into the second half and Trajkovski perfectly passed to Antonio La Gumina who doubled the lead. In the 73rd minute Trajkovski converted a penalty kick setting the final score. Ilija Nestorovski wasn’t in the squad due to injury.

David Babunski wasn’t summoned by the home team.

Vanche Shikov started the match for Tobol and was replaced in the 41st minute. His team only drew at home with Akzhayik.

Stefan Ashkovski entered the match in the 88th minute and his team won important points away to Jong Utrecht. Fortuna  is heading towards promotion.

Denis Mahmudov continued his good form and scored his 14th goal this season, but his team lost again and as this was the fifth defeat in row, Dordrecht also lost the chances for promotion. Antonio Stankov wasn’t included in Dordrecht’s squad for this match.

Aleksandar Todorovski wasn’t part of the home squad.

Stefan Ristovski played the whole match for Sporting and his team won against Boavista.

Romania, Liga I Betano, Botoșani – Sepsi 2:2
Both Macedonians were starters for Sepsi. Milovan Petrovikj played all minutes in defensive midfield, while Marko Simonovski was brought at centеr-forward where he played 72 minutes. Sepsi conceded a goal in the 18th minute, but Petrovikj equalized in the 42nd minute. In the 61st minute Marko netted the 1:2 lead for his team, but unfortunately the hosts scored a late equalizer in the 4th minute of stoppage time.

Destan Hadjija didn’t play for the home side.

Serbia, SuperLiga, Javor – Zemun 1:0
Aleksa Amanovikj played the whole match for Javor, while Filip Ristovski wasn’t included in the squad, same as Dushan Savikj for Zemun.

Petar Krstikj wasn’t part of Radnički’s squad on this match.

Both Zeni Husmani and Agim Ibraimi played the whole match for Domžale and their team defeated Rudar with 3:0. Ibraimi assisted the last goal on the match in the 92nd minute.

Great game for Enis Bardhi who scored a brace in just three minutes. First, in the 42nd minute equalized on 1:1, while in 44th brought the lead. Both goals came on a similar situation directly from free kicks. After his second was awarded a yellow card for taking off his shirt. In the 71st minute he was taken off for Saša Lukić receiving standing ovation.

Stole Dimitrievski kept a clean sheet against Numancia and once again proved to be the best goalkeeper in the Spanish second league.

David Mitov Nilsson didn’t play because of injury.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Chiasso – Aarau 0:2
Nikola Gjorgjev was in the starting lineup for Aarau and helped his team win away to Chiasso. Gjorgjev, who played on the right wing, received a yellow card in the 89тх minute and was replaced in the 92nd minute.

Thailand, Toyota Thai League, Bangkok Glass – Bangkok United 0:1
Mario Gjurovski played the whole match for Bangkok Glass, but his team was defeated at home in the local derby against Bangkok United.

Adis Jahovic replaced the scorer of the first goal Samuel Eto’o in the 75th minute and confirmed the victory for his team with a goal in the 86th minute.
