Macedonian internationals performances (06-09.04 ’18)

Good weekend for our internationals as Mirko Ivanovski, Mario Gjurovski, Besart Abdurahimi, Jovan Kostovski, Denis Mahmudov, Marko Simonovski and Dorian Babunski netted a goal apiece, Bojan Najdenov provided an assist, another clean sheet for Stole Dimitrievski, while Gjoko Zajkov caused a controversial penalty.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Luftëtari – Teuta 0:0
Right-back Bojan Gjorgievski as usual played the entire game for Teuta and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet, while his teammate Burhan Mustafov didn’t play.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Laçi – Partizani 0:3
Central back Egzon Belica was all minutes part of Partizani’s defense that kept a clean sheet, while his teammate Besart Abdurahimi played the last ten minutes and scored his teams second goal in the 85th minute. Meanwhile, Emran Ramadani was an unused substitute, whereas Alban Sulejmani wasn’t called up.

Sedat Berisha played the entire game in Vllaznia’s central defense and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the win against Lushnja.

Demir Imeri didn’t play for Kamza, while Valon Ethemi opened on Kukësi’s bench but was introduced already in the 10th minute.

Australia, Hyundai A-League, Newcastle United Jets – Perth Glory 0:2
Daniel Georgievski wasn’t called up by Newcastle for this encounter.

Azerbaijan, Premyer Liqasi, Zirə – Qəbələ 1:1
Yani Urdinov played the whole match for Zirə in the draw against Qəbələ.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League play-off I, Charleroi – Anderlecht 1:2
Centre-back Gjoko Zajkov made his second consecutive start for Charleroi and played the entire game. In the 64th minute it was Gjoko who made a foul that resulted in a penalty, but there was a big discussion because in fact it didn’t looked like a penalty. However, fouled player Łukasz Teodorczyk converted the penalty what was also the game winner.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League play-off II, OH Leuven – Lierse 1:2
Jovan Kostovski netted his second consecutive goal for Leuven as he scored in the 73rd minute after he was introduced eight minutes earlier. Unfortunately that goal wasn’t enough to avoid the home loss against Lierse.

Aleksandar Lazevski didn’t play for Sloboda.

Bosnia-Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Zrinjski – Sarajevo 1:0
Captain Krste Velkoski played all minutes in attack for Sarajevo, while his teammate Marjan Altiparmakovski came off the bench in the 78th minute to strengthen the offense, but in vain as their team lost away to Zrinjski.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Slaven Belupo – Rijeka 1:3
Mirko Ivanovski played all minutes for Slaven at center-forward, while his teammate Tome Kitanovski opened on the bench and was introduced directly after the half-time break. For the visitors, unusually Leonard Zhuta played the entire game at right-back, whereas Milan Ristovski didn’t make the matchday squad. In the 65th minute Mirko converted a penalty for the hosts, but the game was eventually won by Rijeka.

Samir Fazli played the whole game in offense for the hosts, while Muzafer Ejupi wasn’t called up by Osijek.

Arijan Ademi captained Dinamo and played the entire match in midfield as his team demolished Istra on the road. In the 33th minute Arijan also received a yellow card.

Armend Dalipi wasn’t part of Cibalia’t squad.

Veliche Shumulikoski is still out with an injury for the away team.

Ezgjan Alioski played the whole match for the hosts. He was also shown a yellow card in the second half.

Davor Taleski remained on the bench as keeper #2 for the away team.

Kosta Manev played the whole game in center defense for the winning side.

Stefan Spirovski played the whole match for the winning side. His club are still topping the table in Hungary and are in a close race with Boban Nikolov’s Videoton.

Bojan Najdenov played his first 90 minutes since joining Esteghlal. In the 76th minute he assisted to Ali Ghorbani for 3:0. Unusual for him, he played as right back.

Risto Mitrevski played the whole game in the home back line.

Goran Pandev played 61 minutes in the Derby della Lanterna. Before being substituted by Isaac Cofie, he had a goal ruled out for offside in the 20th minute and he also picked up a yellow card four minutes later.

Italy, Serie B, Palermo – Pescara 1:1
Ilija Nestorovski played until the 86th minute when Stefano Moreo took his place, while Aleksandar Trajkovski entered the field in the 77th minute instead of Igor Coronado. The Rosaneri disappointed the home crowd by failing to beat Pescara. Luckily, promotion rivals Frosinone lost so Palermo is now tied on points with them, sharing the second place.

David Babunski wasn’t summoned by Yokohama as the manager already chose other 4 foreign players to face the title holders.

Japan, J2 League, Machida Zelvia – Roasso Kumamoto 2:2
Dorian Babunski made the bench for Machida and was introduced in the 79th minute to strengthen the defense as his team was one goal down at that point. In the 4th minute of stoppage time it worked out as Dorian equalized through a header.

Kazakhstan, Kaesipqoi Ligasy, Tobol – Atyrau 3:2
Vanche Shikov began in central defense for Tobol and played 63 minutes in the win against Atyrau.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Go Ahead Eagles – Fortuna 0:1
Stefan Ashkovski played all minutes on the left wing for Fortuna as his team recorded an important win on the road.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Jong AZ – Dordrecht 3:1
Denis Mahmudov was fielded in attack by Dordrecht and netted his teams lone goal in the 89th minute, while his teammate Antonio Stankov started at right-back and lasted 73 minutes on the pitch. Denis’s goal was a real beauty as he chipped the ball from a tight angle over the goalie.

Aleksandar Todorovski didn’t make the visitors matchday squad.

Portugal, Liga NOS, Sporting – Paços de Ferreira 2:0
Stefan Ristovski was all minutes at right-back for Sporting and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the win against Paços de Ferreira.

Romania, Liga I Betano, Juventus – Sepsi 0:2
Milovan Petrovikj started in defensive midfield for Sepsi, while Marko Simonovski opened at centеr-forward. Both Macedonians played all minutes in the important win away to Juventus. In the 53rd minute it was Marko who opened the score when he finished with a right-footed shot from inside the box.

Both our internationals Aleksa Amanovikj and Filip Ristovski played whole game for Javor. Ristovski was shown a yellow card at 81st minute of the game.

Petar Krstikj was unused substitute for Radnički.

Serbia, SuperLiga, Crvena Zvezda – Zemun 3:1
Dushan Savikj wasn’t part of Zemun’s squad at this match.

Daniel Avramovski entered the field for Vojvodina at half time instead Lazar Zličić.

Stole Dimitrievski was the home team’s starting goalkeeper and he kept a clean sheet third game in a row.

David Mitov Nilsson didn’t play for the visitors because of injury.

Thailand, Toyota Thai League, Bangkok Glass – Police Tero 4:1
Mario Gjurovski played till 69th minute for the home team when Apisit Sorada took his place. He scored his team’s first goal at 2nd minute of the game.
