Macedonian First League – Round 10

Pelister - Vardar The eternal derby between Pelister and Vardar marked the 10th round. Pelister won with 1:0 on the bad pitch in Bitola. On the other matches, Sileks won against Teteks, Rabotnicki beat Pobeda with 6:2, Renova defeated Metalurg with a turnover, while Makedonija won the points in the last seconds of the match in Turnovo.

Pelister and Vardar, the biggest Macedonian rivals met today in the eternal derby of Macedonia on the very bad muddy pitch on the “Tumbe Kafe” stadium in Bitola.
Besides the bad conditions, an interesting match was played. The hosts took the lead in the 20th minute with the goal by young Marjan Altiparmakovski. Vardar then took the initiative and had more of the possession, but failed to create some serious scoring chance.
Pelister managed to control the ball in the second half and didn’t allow Vardar to get near their goal. Vardar’s chances ended when the captain Marjan Belcev was sent off in the 79th minute.


Hattrick for Dusan Savik, two goals for Bobi Bozinovski, whileWandeir Oliveira dos Santos scored one goal in the big victory for Rabotnicki. Milovan Petrovik in the first half and Ilija Nestorovski in the second scored for Pobeda.

Interesting match was played in Tetovo where Metalurg took the lead with the goal by Mile Krstev, but Renova made a complete turnover and won the match with the goals by Besart Ibraimi, Agron Memedi and Blagoja Todorovski.

Makedonija GjP left Turnovo with the 3 points. After few chances on both sides on the hard pitch in Turnovo, Makedonija scored in the last seconds and won the match.
