Macedonian 1st League – Round 13

MakedonijaLeaders Makedonija continued their good performances on the stadium in Gjorce Petrov with the 2:0 win over reigning champions Rabotnicki on the derby of the 13th round from the Macedonian first league.

Makedonija GjP Skopje – Rabotnicki Skopje 2:0 (1:0)

Makedonija GjP continued their impressive record on their home pitch. In the last 12 home matches or exactly 1230 minutes, they haven't received a goal. Their good performances on the home pitch are one of the main reasons for their current leading position, which they even improved it today because Vardar was free this round.
After the first minutes of the testing of skills on both sides, Makedonija took the initiative. The first big chance came in the 17th minute when Ambourouet took a free kick from the right side. Rabotnicki's goalkeeper Georgievski, failed to save the ball and only blocked it to Washington, whose shot was blocked, but the ball came to Lena who shot just next to the goal from a very close range. The home fans had to wait until the 27th for the real excitement. Mitrev tried to enter Rabotnicki's box and Bojovic tackled the ball and also the player. The referee Meckarovski was under big pressure, but still whistled for a penalty kick. Brazilian De Brito took the shot and scored for Makedonija's lead. The hosts continued with the pressure and their small dominance can be shown with the fact that Rabotnicki had their first chance on the match in the 34th minute when Savic took a shot from 20meters. Makedonija's lead created big nervous on the pitch and that resulted with seven yellow cards shown in the first 45 minutes.
Just when the second half started, Rabotnicki had the biggest chance on the match. After a free kick from the right side, Savic took a shot from the right side of the box, but Mojsov blocked the ball from the goal line. And then came the punishment. A fast counter attack by Makedonija in the 51st minute, the other Brazilian Washington received a long ball and ran fast towards the goal and sent a shot past goalkeeper Jorde Georgievski. Makedonija had one more big chance for even bigger win when in the 62nd minute after a fast run from the right side, Wahington passed the ball in the box to his compatriot De Brito but he was in bad position and shot over the goal.
With this win, Makedonija steadied on the top with bigger lead because of Vardar's break in this round.


Napredok Kicevo – Metalurg Skopje 1:2 (1:2)
45' Levkov(p) – 1' Velkoski, 12' Petreski
The fastest goal this season and one of the fastest goals in the history of the Macedonian football was scored today in Kicevo. In the first attack on this match, after a cross from the left side, Krste Velkoski in the 30th second of the match scored the goal for Metalurg's lead. But the guests didn't stop here and only 12 minutes later they extended their lead when Petreski scored from the right side of the box. Metalurg had the ball possession in the first half, but Napredok finally consolidated in the last minutes of the first half. Blagoj Levkov was fouled in the box and the referee showed on the white spot. Levkov didn't find it hard to score and joined Jancevski from Vardar and De Brito from Makedonija GjP on the top of the scoring list with 8 scored goals.
Metalurg had the control of the match again in the second half and managed to keep their lead, until the last minute of the match when after one shot it seemed like Napredok scored the equalizing goal. The referee marked the goal, but his assistant denied it. After few minutes of consulting and big protest by the home players, the referee still decided to disallow the goal and Metalurg took home the three points.
With this win, Metalurg escaped the bottom which now belongs to Napredok.

Renova Dzepciste – Pobeda Prilep 2:1 (1:1)
11' Nuhiu, 88' Memedi – 37' Ristevski
Renova hosted Prilep in Ohrid, serving their stadium suspension. Nuhiu took Renova in to lead in the 11th minute. Renova didn't stop here and continued with attacking. The guest finally consolidated and Ristevski scored the equalizer in the 37th minute. 
In the second half, both teams played much slower football with slight domination by Renova. In the 74th minute Despotovski was sent off because of a rough foul over Nestoroski. Pobeda then tried to use the advantage and started attacking, but failed to score. And then, in the 88th minute Memedi sent a cross towards Pobeda's goal and after a big mistake by the goalkeeper Vrteski, the ball ended in the net for a 2:1 win and important points for Renova which took them on the 3rd position.

Horizont Turnovo – Pelister Bitola 0:0 (0:0)
After the four draws in the last round, Turnovo and Pelister played the only match that ended with a draw and also with the most unpopular result 0:0. This season Pelister defeated Turnovo three times (league and cup), but this time Turnovo on their home field managed to win a point. Blagojce Glavevski was sent-off because of two yellow cards, but still the hosts failed to convert the players advantage into goal advantage and Turnovo and Pelister shared the points in a scoreless draw.

Milano Kumanovo – Sileks Kratovo 1:0 (1:0)
35' Gesovski
As expected, Milano didn't have big problem with defeating Sileks. Blagoja Gesovski in the 35th minute scored the only goal on the match which brought Milano the three points and climbed them up to the 2nd position.
