The Macedonian U21 national team survived another disaster with the 0:3 defeat on the friendly match with the Albanian U21 national team, played in Ohrid today.
The Macedonian U21 national team coach Mirsad Jonuz used the friendly match played on the stadium "Biljanini izvori" in Ohrid to test seven new players, but obviously they didn't help much as they were defeated with 0:3 by the Albanian U21. Macedonia had a very bad first half and the visitors punished us with two goals. After few substitutions, Macedonia played better in the second half and created few chances, but Slavkovski and Ibraimi failed to score and the visitors punished us with another goal. Hysa in the 18th, Vila in the 45th and Arbëri in the 80th minute were the scorers for Albania.
Only six months ago, Macedonia U21 defeated Albania U21 on a friendly match with 1:0.
Macedonia started the match with the following squad: Gacevski, Georgievski, Lazevski, Blazevski, Dimitrovski, Selmani, Ivanovski, Pavlov, Slavkovski, Simovski, Ibraimi.
